I am a complete noob when it come to parts picking for a new rig. After looking through the internet and forums, this is the list of parts that I have planned to use in my new rig. However, I am not sure what is the pricing of these parts in Singapore and how well those parts work with each other.

It would be awesome to get some suggestions from you guys :)

X Intel Core i5-6600k 3.5Ghz Quad-Core Processor
X Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
X Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 5
X G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4-2400 Ram
X Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB SSD
X Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 3TB HDD
X Cooler Master 650W 80+ Gold Semi Modular PSU

Graphic card wise, I have not made up my mind yet, but, one of my close friend suggested me these..

X MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB
OR
X MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
OR
X The upcoming GPU BEAST GTX 1070/1080??

Hmm, 1.7k already excluding GPU? Think I should lower down the specs. Let say my budget is within... 2k?

sorry after checking abit maybe i tune the est value slight higher by 200 =:p since i dun have time to calculate the actual value, i glimpse through the price on PCT pricelist, rough figure of 1.5k, but if u wait for the new gpu probably add another 600~700+ more for 1070 and 1k+ for 1080(est too since no pricing in SG atm).

well if u are playing at 1080p either 390 or 970 is fine.

Bro, don't forget you might need to get a PC case and maybe additional dust covers and PC fans. This can add up to $150 or more unless you get a generic $50 case which based on my experience, please don't do so.

You can save money by forgoing the liquid cooler and sticking to stock cooler or one with heatsink. Although I have no idea what you plan to use the PC for, I doubt you need overclocking the CPU so you can probably put that money towards something else, like maybe a 512 GB SSD.

What monitor you using? If you using 1080p monitor then don't bother investing money on the new cards get a 970

Your advise on the 512gb ssd instead of the AIO cpu cooler is bad. What's the point in spending money on higher data storage for ssd? Majority of us use ssd for windows os + software or games installation 250gb is more then sufficient. Getting a AIO cpu cooler is worth it, however I do agree with spending money on dust cover good investment

But not all games benefits having their games installed on ssd, why not just install it on hdd
