Qn. About ssd capabilities

If I put an external ssd on a ps4. Will the games load faster. Faster spawn times in multiplayer, like cold war faster spawn time and action report faster exit to game menu. Load destiny 2 inventory faster? Others etc...
Will ps5 utilize external ssd to make it 2x or 3x speed load times? Or same as ps5 internal ssd speed?

From my experience with PS4 Pro, it does improve load times and in game response, PS5 will take advantage and load PS4 games faster as an external drive

The PS5 internal SSD is like faster than 95% of all the external SSD on the market.....ps5 cannot be downloaded to external SSD, only the internal SSD or the 3rd party nvme ssd storage of a certain high specs installed on the drive slot.

not sure if spawn time is tied to how fast your hdd is
