[Qn] Computer often go into black screen with no error message

Hello sexperts,

please give me your opinion on what is happening to my PC; Computer often go into black screen with no error message and i have to press the reset button or power on/off to boot it back. No bluescreen or dump file for me to analyse. I did the follow:
1. run memory check - everything ok
2. run SSD check - everything ok
3. installed GPUZ and turn on trace

I found that the temperature of my GPU was consistently at 72 degree then when it hangs, the GPU temp surge to 255 degree, so can i conclude that I need to change a new GPU?
my gpu is damn old, its 9600 GT

Most likely is gpu overheat.

thanks for the fast reply but change to what huh? I would like something similar because im not sure if my PSU have the newer GPU connector, any advise? i hope to change to something not more than 200$

i sometimes face this problem too, when i scroll too fast in a webpage, the web page will turn black and become unresponsive, possible ram problem?

Cos i open to abt 15++ firefox browser each time.. using the "restore previous session" function in fire fox.

and I am thinking of getting 750 Ti instead of 760.. which brand is good for 750Ti? i like it that it might not need additional power as it uses less power than R series

The chip is the same no matter which brand, just get with 3 years warranty at lowest price.
