Qn for those attempted Mt. Fuji

How many days did you guys spend in the surrounding area? I plan to visit Mt Fuji and hike it, but before this I'll be visiting Osaka and Kyoto. Is it recommended?

Mt fuji itself is off limits to climb.

If you mean hakone, tons of PRC and pinoy tourists. You want a nice view of the place, best to take a hiking trail.
