Qn.Maintain phone for certain yrs

How many of you maintain phone for certain yrs. Using the cheapest line or other cheapest line like gomo and the rest? For your gaming phone and high end phone? Until enugh money for new models?

another poco m3 phone using circles $0

another poco x3 from 2020 using circles $5

a tablet using m1 maxx $0

Just FYI, Poco X3 has just been EOLed by Xiaomi.

I do not buy high end Android phones and I have lowered my budget of Android phones to S$400 from year 2022 onwards.

Now I am using Xiaomi Poco X4 GT 8G/256GB version bought in December 2022 at S$385 (initial release by Xiaomi in June 2022). Singtel SIM Only Plus 30 (S$20.19 per month).

My plan is to use the midrange Android phone (around S$400) for two years and then another year as a backup phone.

Poco F3 - 574 days old on the $5 SIMBA plan. Looking to get 3 more years of use with it.

Future phones, will get 2nd hand pixels or iPhone since they got 5-7 years of support.

for me, maximum 2 years. I usually don't keep the phone too long. when time goes by I also afraid about the board and other stuff to get spoil easily.
