Hi tw experts, need advise on cingjing -

If i was to do a day trip from taichung to cingjing and return back to taichung on the same day..factoring the journey time and priority is to visit the green green farm..izzit feasible ?

By public transport.

the journey from taichung hsr to cingjing farm is 2hrs
if you plan to watch the sheep shearing show, which start at 0930hrs and 1430hrs
it may abit rush

Im ok to skip the show if too rush. Do you know whats the time first nantou bus depart from tc? and last bus depart from cj ?

the earliest bus from gancheng station is 0825hrs

and coming back to taichung is 1030hrs

take note taichung got 2 pickup point to cingjing farm
1 gancheng station
2 hsr station

Base on the timetable, first bus depart from gancheng at 0825 & reach hsr at 0845. I haben decide which pickup point yet, but i wait at the respective pickup at the time stated ?

For depart, the last bus is 1610? and reach hsr at 1820 and gancheng at 1840? am i right?

0910 - 1140
1610 - 1840
weekend only 1720-1950

TC - CJ
0825 - 1055
1225 - 1455
weekend only 1425 - 1655

If you stay in Puli, more timing.

If i rch CJ at 1100hrs, and catch the bus at 1610hrs.. 4hrs shd be enuff at CJ right ? my priority is go green green grassland.

If only GGG, then I think should b ok. U still hv some time for outside scenery. GGG itself is not a great deal. U will b disappoint with it. If u miss, another alternative is to take bus from CJ to Puli n then to TC.
Bus to Puli, 1640 or last 1825hr. From Puli, u hv more timing to TC or TC HSR. Otherwise, Yours is still ok. If I m not v wrong the bus stop is Infront of GGG. Just tell the driver or ask for more information on bus. They r v helpful. Njoy
