Qns about ITIL v3 Foundations

I am intending to book for the ITIL v3 foundations exam..

However have gone thru some books teaching and telling me different things.

I am now going thru the videos from CBT nuggets and doing their mock test papers.. are those useful?

I dun wanna get shocked on test day doing wrong mock papers hahaha!

For starters, ITIL V3 was retired in 2011... now it is called ITIL:2011

If you are self studying, make sure you are studying the correct version.

Any recommended training centres for ITIL 2011?

Currently looking at NUS.

If study at NUS-ISS, will gain weight after all those lunch and tea break buffets.

I hope not, anyway, it's just a 3-day course, shouldn't be that bad.

Check out NTUC learning center at Brash Basah Road, opposite SMU. I just had my training and exam there in January, Passed!!

i did mine there too. the exam is mcq and suprisingly straightforward. the material suggests much more difficult questions can be set.

personally itil foundation by itself not useful. maybe useful only if you intend to take on more itil courses and be fully certified or as pmp requirements.

Or your company actually manages their IT rather than sole constant fire-fighting.

There are free "question bank". Try look for "exam collection" using google.

Don't attempt certifications because it is part of paper chasing. Get certified only when the person understand the content fully.
