qns on same app between 2 iphones

Im using 2 phones, one 4s and one 3gs..
using whatsapp on 4s and now i wanna install whatsapp on my 3gs to use.. Can download using the same apple id or need a diff apple id to purchase again?

your 4s and 3gs are both different sim nunmbers right?

then u can just use the same itunes account and use the app on the 2 phones for the price of 1.
