e.g from JB Sentral take CW bus back to Spore Queen Street, how does it work?

#1 (Sentral to Spore) u tap your Visa card
#2 (Spore alight) alight no need tap
#3 (Spore after custom) board CW2 tap card again.

question is at #3, how much will they deduct? will they know that you boarded at JB Sentral?

coz if u board CW2 at #3, you need to pay in SGD. if u pay using cash, #1->#3 is rm4.80

Think the 2nd time you tap will deduct lesser amount like a discount? Best is just use RM to pay. Cheapest.

From JB to SG, tap once. It would already deduct as per stated fare.

If you are traveling beyond ICA, then tap again, it would deduct balance fare to the other drop off..

In MSIA, process is similar to SG's. Tap in and out.

no diff de.

(Sentral to Spore) & (Spore to Queen Street) don't have to be the same bus. if u pay by cash, it's generic, u just show the ticket to hop on, no need same bus.

i know of someone who got charge like 10 plus because he assume like sg tap in and out each time end up charged multiple time
