Sad that Qoo10 has become like this. Was one of the first few online merchants I used way before Shopee.

Didn't like their interface, so messy and cluttered. But thanks for the good old memories.
their courier qdelivery was the best

So... what the sellers need to do, if they want to get their sales money back? Lodge police report?

7 Merchants facing payment delays should raise their concerns with Qoo10. If the concerns remain unresolved, there are established processes in place to assist merchants in resolving commercial disputes, inclusive of debt recovery. For example, they can consider filing a civil claim with the courts. Merchants who face cash flow difficulties because of the payment delays may contact any of the participating Financial Institutions listed on Enterprise Singapore’s website to apply for the Enterprise Financing Scheme (Working Capital Loan).

Realistically, file a claim at SCT or band together to file a suit and force qoo10 to go into administration.

SCT to me is pointless because qoo10 can ultimately still ignore it, which means the seller still needs to go through court anyway to try and enforce the payment. Even then, they might not have the money to pay up.

Banding together to force qoo10 to go into administration (ie bankruptcy) would be a more definite and direct way of ending this once and for all. After all, if no money, then as good as bankrupt. This is not something the company can ignore and they would have to negotiate (ie haircut) their debts or start selling off assets to try and pay as much off as they can. If very lucky, might even come up with a solution to continue the business and pay off everyone in full eventually. At the very least, it would stop the company from delaying even further and there would be oversight on the matter.

Either way, seller must be prepared for a major loss, possibly including whatever stock is being held at qoo10's warehouse.

:(

More than S$1k worth of qmoney... used to be a merchant... top up using SGD$ for qdeliveries and ads... They owed me more than 5k worth of settlement too... have filed SCT but strongly doubt anything can be done. 😢
How long were you on qoo10?

I hate that shopee keeps changing UI. Its not hard to get use to, but why make me master new muscle memory.
