[Qubes]Could not adjust screen brightness

Hi guys,

I have just installed Qubes OS on my Lenovo E595 AMD laptop. OS works ok, but the screen brightness could not be adjusted.

Pressing the laptop screen adjustment keys triggered a pop up on the screen, but the screen remains full brightness.

Anyone encountered similar issues? Any ways to resolve?

Try if xrandr can adjust the brightness?
xrandr --output eDP-1-1 --brightness .5

Change the eDP-1-1 to the name of your panel. Just the command xrandr will list all the panels.
