Query on NZXT Sentry 3. Speed control.

Trying my luck here to see anyone uses this fan controller. i just bought this from CM and after fixing it up, i tried with 2 fans and i find that i cannot adjust the speed nor use the slider.

is there anything i am doing wrong? this thing looks very straightforward, i just connected the Molex 4 pin, the rest to individual fans, tested 2 namely Noctua and AF-140... both are always at 100% speed and not able to control the speed at all.

Other buttons like LED, on/off and temp/Fahrenheit toggle is ok.

Or did i kana a faulty set.

To answer my own query.... confirm that the fan controller i bought last thursday was Lemon and got it tested and exchanged at CM today. Luckily there was 1 last piece for me to exchange.

Why not just connect the fans to your mobo's fan header? Asus fan xpert not bad.

Just hand itchy playing around with it...
now got a little issue is that for Noctua IPPC fan, minimum is 50% speed when using xpert fan, therefore putting as the front fan the noise is very audible.. trying to see if fan controller can further reduce it or it's the fan feature.
