question about armaggeddon fuze 3c interaction with mac

sup guys,

does the armageddon fuze 3c work with a mac? idk why the sound plays but the mic doesn't detect anything at all, even after restarting/manually selecting i/o devices in system prefs. is it meant to work on a mac or is it a hardware problem?
