my POSB ATM is actually the POSB Everyday Master Card linked ATM. If I use it to withdraw cash overseas, will it be considered as Cash Advance using CC?

or the overseas ATM machine will give me the options to withdraw cash from my POSB saving A/C or from CC as Cash Advance?

No, if you select to withdraw from your savings account instead of credit card account

Withdrawals are limited to £300 for most uk accounts, I think this may apply to Cirrus/Plus withdrawals too.

What can you buy with £300? Even take 1 train also £5-10 gone. Every 2-3 days need to go withdraw money? UK banks got no brains?

If people need more money, they have to go to a branch. Credit/debit cards are widely accepted there so it's usually not a problem. Just have to plan in advance if need to pay for rent or something that requires cash.

Anyway yeah the service we get from SG banks is much better than UK banks

Thanks guys, noted the input. Right now, I have just applied for a Citibank account. Waiting for the ATM card to come soon. Will standby Citibank and SCB credit card for card spending and the ATM cards (POSB and Citibank) for cash over there. Am I good to go? Did I miss out anything?
