I just bought 3 new fan for my new rig, corsair SP fan and AP fans.
at the box it wrote 1450RPM, same as the corsair official website.
but when in my system, it just run at 1150 RPM, I can adjust the fan RPM from 500RPM to 1150 RPM. this is show at the BIOS and also desktop Asus AI suite software. I turn it to maximum already, it is just run at 1150RPM. any idea how to fix? all fans are 3 pin

another add on question here, the liquid cooler pump is 3 pin and I plug into mainboard CPU fan header as the user manual shows, after that at the BIOS and Asus AI suite can show the pump unit 3k+ RPM and I able to adjust from 500RPM to 6000RPM for the pump. why so weird, not logic to me, any idea why?

4th pin is for PWM. So depending on your settings, the fan speed will gradually increase when the temps (cpu) increases.

Try using the sys_cpu fan header (not sure if its called this) or the fan header closest to the cpu socket.
