Question about fans

A small question that has been pestering me for a while. Was walking around sim lim tower and i realised they had those nidec fans that were made in japan, made of metal and seemed really high quality.
Why nobody buy those to use in conventional desktops ah?

Check the voltage on them. Most of those are designed for IBM server cases and are LOUD.

If it's server fan, these are loud. Our data centres are like macham airport like that. Stay there for too long u r ur ears start to feel uncomfortable

Edit: did an eBay search and Nidec got manufacture normal 12V DC fans. Need to make sure u got the right ones before buying. TS can try get it liao then report back
