This morning board Luxury Coach 28 seaters, no lower deck seat. Very big seat and comfortable. Board at 7am at harbour front coach bay, reach Melaka at 11pm+

How's the crowd situation in Melaka? Or is it like a dead town?

Melaka is never dead. Maybe not as crowded as preC19, but there're visitors from other states as well, especially weekends.

I only went opposite my Airbnb for lunch, many restaurants are closed.
Last time I came also CNY day 2/3, attractions and jonker got many people.
Last go shopping walk walk and dinner.

Melaka is never dead. Maybe not as crowded as preC19, but there're visitors from other states as well, especially weekends.

The Daily Fix Café (inside jonker) food and drink are good.
Portugese Settlement (Seaside) 8 好运来 long wait about 1hr, veg and fish well cook but chili crab sauce wrong, crab fresh.
Fish RM93.50, veg RM12, crab RM78.

Teochew Bak Kut Teh tried before, went back to try again. Food nice but soup more salty. Close at 2pm, 12pm+ start to run out of certain ingredient. 2 pax RM48.50

Zhong Tai restaurant food very yummy and very good price. Agin 45min wait.
crab jujube RM21, fish steam RM72, egg RM12.
Their 3eggs veg taste bitter and taste funny, the staff say got add herbs, we say we eat this dish every time cannot accept this taste, the staff allow us to exchange with egg. Very good staff!

Use Grab food order Soonfa bak ku teh, pic for 2pax got rice, I order 1 more rice, only give me 1 rice. Soup come in plastic bag, luckily stay in airbnb got bowl but small one. No chopstick or spoon. bak ku teh only have ribs nothing esle. damn lousy!!!!!. Cost RM55.29 no standard.

Shopping mall got those RM28 30 mins foot massage, don't try, very lousy and even hurt my knee area. Next morning feel pain on both leg. Totally no experience or not trained.

That time took 8H to reach PD made me so scared of the school holiday jam.

Then the next one to Melaka took almost 6H.

Now really a bit of a phobia for the jam during school holidays.

Other than the jam, there's also the higher possibility of encountering crowds when you just want to run a quick errand or have a peaceful meal...

I think for Melaka, the latest I've heard of was leaving SG at breakfast time and reaching in time for dinner. Normally it'd be by lunchtime, still got time to grab lunch before going to check in to the hotel.

Correct Melaka nvr dead dah. In fact it's 1 of the place I contemplate to settle down.

Definitely not 4pm. Either checked in after we arrived with Luxury, or after our lunch which shouldn't have been after 3pm. But again, that's a regular weekday, hardly anyone else in the lobby.
