Hi guys, I am wondering whether a 800w PSU specifically the Corsair GS800 will be able to handle 2 R9 280X in Crossfire.

I rather you hoot now. Prices of r9 200series is going up as we speaks. Due to low stock count be it 280x 290 290x. In america amazon the prices are rising due to the fact bitcoin mining activities people are just mining with r9 200series gpu. Makes the card $100usd difference from the current pricing. And yes just finishing sweeping the whole of sls today. Noticed some cards especially the 280x and 290 are increasing.

hmm, sounds good, but actually no budget already for this year...

over spend money on CPU+MB, waiting for bonus from boss in next few months, by the way, is it good to buy another MSI or Gibabye R9 280X for X-fire, or better to stick to the ASUS Matrix R9-P-280X?

Strange as Bitcoin value fell sharply last couple of weeks after China banned it in early Dec... Those miners in the US probably not getting such a good deal now..

Usually 800W is minium for X-fire based on recent cards. 850w to be safe. more to allow overlocking etc.

cheers and happy new year.
