Question about ssd

Looking to change my hdd to a ssd for my pc.

It's an old one about 3 years old, not sure which kind of connection to get.

I see SATA III, SATA, M.2 etc.

Any advise? I'm now using the old normal hdd.

3 years old should be sata ( if i am not wrong).

Just hoot any of the SATA SSD will do the job =)

check your MB see which type can support lah... ask here nobody knows your MB model how to answer?

Just get a SSD which would be the same connector as your HDD.

Example; Samsung EVO 860 SSD which would be SATA-3.

It will be safe to get a SATA3 SSD. SATA3 has been around for a long time.
