Am I right to say that there is at least 2 days apart between transaction and posting dates? At least my quick reference with my last bills (BOC and CIMB cc) seems to suggest. In other words, there is no chance youmake a transaction today and posting date also today, right?

Asking because my billing cycle starts 20th but need to make a spend on 19th, should be 100% safe it will count towards next cycle?

There is no way to ensure 100% safe. Posting usually takes 1 to 3 days, but there are some freak cases where posting can be more than 1 month later. Should try to meet the min spending as early as possible.

No, in my case is not to meet min spend within this cycle. Rather, this cycle i max out already. I am hoping my spend on the 19th count towards my next cycle starting on 20th. In other words, the freak i fear would be charged on 19th and still posted on 19th? And that’s my query, anyone ever seen in your bill, a charge on x date also posted on x date? Looking at my own bills, seems never. In fact earliest posting is 2 days after charge.

Grab ride transactions on SCB, and Cold Storage transactions on Citibank sometimes post on the same day. YMMV.

Hi , do you happen to know any merchant that can post transaction on the same day for ocbc? I’m lack of $70 to hit $800 min spend… thinking to buy vouchers or gift card for future use
