[Question] Computer won't start up

Hi guys, I recently open my computer to vacuum the insides. During the process I broke 1 x CPU heatsink fan blade (i5 4690 stock HSF).

After this, I reattached everything and start up the computer, here's the sequence everytime before my computer dies:

1) Loud rumbling/vibration from computer unit, presumably from all the fans starting up
2) Fans quiet down to operating noise levels
3) Screen displays GIGABYTE (bios logo)
4) Enters OS for like 5 seconds
5) Display went black, no signal.

Would appreciate any advice on what is the cause and the remedy to this?

Wait... vacumn inside? Like literally vacumn the mobo? And other electrical component? If yes.. maybe shot one of the circuits by accident (if u really suay)

Leave the side panel off, then hear for any beeping sounds, also u might want to just swap out the heatsink since it's the stock HSF can always buy around $5 or so to diagnose, at least eliminate possibility of overheating due to spoilt fan

A broken fan blade will cause the fan to vibrate unevenly when spinning, which is probably bad for the CPU.

You can try re-seating the GPU and RAM to see if this can resolve the boot problem.

In any case, change the CPU fan or cooler.

yea, i used a vacuum, though unsure if i did damage the set (really hope not).

my colleague also told me that I might have shorted a circuit, but if this is the case, shouldn't my comp not start at all?

yup, i'm thinking of getting back a stock HSF to diagnose today hopefully this will solve the problem. i'm using an itx setup, so my options are limited

will update again if i manage to get further on this.

alright, thanks for the advice, will reseat the RAM, my gpu's integrated!

will do the swap hopefully this evening if time permits

Boot problem could be motherboard, ram or hdd. You have to isolate one by one.
