Question in data roaming

Hi there if i using Singtel now, then i go Malaysia, will my phone auto connect to the telco if i never buy those roaming plans? Or is it the phone wont be able to connect unless i buy the plan?

The phone will connect if your mobile plan has either international roaming or pay-as-you-roam under the VAS (value-added service).

Consider subscribing to their data roaming plan if u intend to use data. I think they have $5/GB for 7 days.
