Just now my mac was not responding for a long time, so i force shut down. when i attempted to reboot i am greeted with the question mark folder.
The above goes on forever until i force shut down it.
next when i boot up, i hold onto Option to try to bring up Disk Utility but only Internet Recovery were available. when i finally reached Disk Utility, and startup preference there is no option. I can't even see my HDD in disk utility.
Does this mean that the HDD is dead or it could be an issue with the internal cable. I did a search on google and most pointed to a dead HDD.
What would you guy recommend?
Edited: By the way, this is a mid 2010 mbp 13".
