Question on outpro earlier from ICT.

To those who encounter such things before, kindly help give some advice.

If my ICT is going to outpro on Friday. Then due to some personal reasons I'm allowed to outpro on Thursday night. So I'm wondering in this case do I have to report back to my workplace outside on Friday or is it still considered as off from SAF?

If they allow you to outpro, there is no need to return on Friday.

If they wanted you to return, they would have given you an off pass instead.

Of course not lah. The financial part of SAF's makeup pay is such that it's either for the whole ICT or none at all. So if u got off even for the last day, this is paid for by the SAF. So u need not go back to your work yet as per ICT schedule.

rubbish, they count by per day

so you outpro 1 day earlier, make up pay 1 day lesser. when your company go claim, they will know.

Its just your own responsibility to your work. And your career.

I had many callups before. 1 day call up that last 1 hour only. Do i go back to office?
Overseas callup for 3 weeks. But actually, we are back in Singapore at 18 days. 3 days earlier.

I think the "main difference" for the TS was that he requested to be Out-Pro on Thursday due to "personal reasons" which his unit granted the request. Hence the "Friday" may or may not still be binded under the ICT call-up days.

Coz normally, for my ICT like many brothers could be 1 week or up to 3 weeks depend on what was the agenda. For those 2-3 weeks ICT, we were usually Out-Pro 1-2 days before the final day of our ICT and those days are considered "Off Days" hence no need to report to work. Anyway, not sure if there is any change of "regulative" coz mine are history and I have MRed already.

To play safe, just report back to work. If dun wan go work, just go take a mc and cover ur own backside......
