Question on Overclocking

Guys, a noob question, many here say that only mobo with a "K" behind is capable of overclocking. Mine is a Asus H270 M Plus so by right can't oc. But I just got myself a Palit SuperJetstream 1060 6GB, in their thunder master utility there's a big "Overclocker" button. I wonder what effect it has if I click it? Is that the OC we are talking about? Thanks.

CPU without the "K" are locked and you cannot overclock it usually.
but for your case, yours is GPU and not CPU so not related..
Just clicking the button will probably see a bump in clock speed, memory speed and temperature. Resulting in better fps/performance in game

thundermaster is a utility for gpu oc...
different from cpu oc
