Question on running iPad app on iPhone

HI guys,

a quick question here. is it possible to "fake" my iphone 6 plus to be identified as an iPad? if so how do I do it?

That's the very reason that I still have my iPad Air 2 around and soon the iPad pro, if that's what they call it. Although most iPhone apps I'm using that doesn't require cell services will work on the iPad, just that it will be scaled up.
