Hi guys, I got an arm injury during training in BMT, and I am being referred to a specialist by the MO (which usually takes a few months). Let's assume the appointment is only in 2019, and by then my arm has recovered, is there any chance for me to be charged for malingering? The MO has referred me to a specialist though, and he didn't do a thorough check (he just pressed my arm using his hand etc)

There maybe underlying issues even though you have recovered. So I don’t see why that will be an issue.

Hey thanks for reply! Just asking like in case it's perfectly fine by the time my medical appt arrives, I won't be charged for malingering right? Because it takes months for the appt and by then with sufficient rest it may be all good

Is the MO who referred you out of abundance of caution. If you are worried, just tell specialist your story, and get a memo to say you have recovered and go see Mo for an update.

No. Stop being paranoid. Even if by some puny chance your arm recovers and has zero traces, it would simply be a misdiagnosis/misjudgement on the MO's side. And even if on top of that the specialist somehow think you're kenging, do as what reddevil has mentioned.
