Question regarding PSU for RTX 5080

Hi just gotten the parts of the of the PC from SLS for my new PC and was recommend

LEADEX VI Platinum PRO 1000W PCIe 5.1​

from the shop, while researching i realize this model is not ATX 3.0/3.1 but ATX 2.52 although it does come with a PCIE 5 cable (2x9 pin to 12 pin)
wondering if this PSU is decent for running 5080 or do i need to get another model (if needed any recommendation?)

if you havent buyed the psu, may as well buy attx 3/3.1 ones.

in theory it should be enough, just use the leadex 2x9pin to 12pin cable. dont use the bundled adaptor with 5080.

atx 3/3.1 main thing is the high excursion load. @ragnarok95 got use leadex with 4070ti iirc.

I'm using the superflower SE 1.2Kw with custom cable mod 12vhpwr cable. So just get any PSU with single 12vhpwr out and you should be fine. I recommend the FSP hydro PTM pro 1.2Kw psu.
