Hi ,

long story short , I found out that one of my RAM sticks
is causing the DRAM LED red light on my ASUS motherboard to light up which made me can't start up my desktop.

Already tested to make sure the problem lies with the ram instead of the port

So am I able to mix brands like Crucial with Corsair? Can't really find the exact ram locally

Current RAM
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-1x4GB-Desktop-Memory-CMV4GX3M1A1333C9/dp/B003XFT3XE

Was using 4 sticks until now

Current MOBO
ASUS P8H77-V LE

No problem, there is no fix rule that say all the rams must be same brand.
