Question: Using CL6 and CL5 RAM

I have two sticks of 2GB CL5 RAM right now. I have 4 RAM slots.

Can I buy two sticks of 2GB CL6 RAM and use? System will just run the CL6 RAM at CL5 right? The new RAM is essentially the same specs, except that it's CL6.

Old RAM: KVR800D2N5/2G
New RAM: KVR800D2N6/2G

System will run the CL5 sticks at CL6 rather. Everything will downgrade to lowest specification of all.

CL is CAS latency. The higher it is the slower it is.
