once you ORD = pink IC.
Pink IC = civilian

so before you ORD you better finish seeing all your specialist.

Saving grace will be that it will be subsidized rate if your follow up appt is as a result of SAF.

Otherwise, you can always extend NSF to "enjoy" the privileges? you want?

is it an service injury? if not, u will need to pay by your own after you ORD.

"Non-service injury or illness upon ORD

If you are hospitalised for a non-service injury or illness and is still not discharged at your ORD, you may continue to receive medical benefits until you are discharged from the hospital. Thereafter, medical coverage for injuries or illness will cease.

Inpatient medical expenses from private hospitals will not be reimbursed."

If it is a service injury, this needs to be documented by your unit and a service injury report needs to be filed to supplement this.

You would have gotten a written confirmation if it is a service injury.

Otherwise service injury will need to be clearly documented as part of your ORD FFI.

After you ORD you wanna claim any service injury that you have not filed previously during your NSF days, it will be very very hard to prove.

Is this due to service injury? do you have evidence to prove it?
