I've been racking my brains out to figure out the best case for me.
I would like a case that has a window because I want to install blue LED strips for lighting.
I would also like a normal size mid or full tower (not as huge as a 800D), nor something that is wider like the Fractal Refine R4
This build is meant to be a mid to high end gaming machine, with dual boot into hackintosh as a partial workstation for graphic design until I get through army, maybe even last me though uni days before I get a MacBook or Mac Pro.
I know I have the choice of AIO liquid cooling with something like the Corsair 100i or the 80i, though I'm trying to avoid these options. I might if I have to but I like having a huge heatsink because I think it looks badass.
Here are my current choices so far:
CM 690 III Windowed
Corsair 750D
Corsair 650D
CM 690 III:
I really like the CM 690 III but I hate the fact that it does not come with rubber grommets and it has very little functionality in terms of cable management. It also seems to be made of much cheaper material compared to the other corsair cases.
Corsair 750D:
I think this case is great, except that the front panel doesn't seem very optimised for air cooling. It seems that it would be difficult for cool air to come in from the inside, which might cause overheating under heavy load. Can anyone who owns this case give me some insight into air cooling with this case?
Corsair 650D:
I love this mid tower, except that this is very expensive. I wouldn't mind paying about $230 to $240 for this case, but mynextcom currently retails this for $282. Can someone shed some light on the Tradepac price for this after discount?

Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
CoolerMaster Hyper 212
Corsair RM 650 PSU (80+ gold)
MSI R9 280x
Kingston SSDNow 120GB x 2
WD Blue 1TB x 2
2 x 8GB Ram (I'll get whatever is cheaper at the time of building this rig)
NZXT Sleeved Blue LED
With regards to my choice of PSU, yes I know that I might get better value with the Superflower HX 600, but I like the look of the Corsair RM series, and also the cables that comes with this PSU are flat, making my cable management much neater. I'm a neat freak when it comes to these things, so I don't mind spending that extra 30-40 more for that feature. I've done extensive research so I think my choice of parts are pretty decent.
