Questions about Japan trains

Hi all I have downloaded the Japan Travel app for my upcoming trip.
I have noticed that on certain train routes there are certain remarks like :
Getting off car: 3 . 6 from the front
Getting off car: front
Getting off car: middle

I have attached an image below (boxed in red)


What do the getting off car means? Do i have to board certain train cabin to alight at certain stations?

The train cars number does not matter this particular train that you are taking ..... I don't know if those cars are nearer the escalators hence the message

I see u using iPhone X
U can use the virtual suica on iPhone X and 8 on japan purchase and trains and bus too

Cool thanks for the info.
So I need not worry about the train cabin number I board then.
Don’t want to be at in the train at the station I want to alight and the doors don’t open. XD

what does Google maps say? I would compare different sources just to b sure.

No need worry about train cabin
U only need to worry of which route u plan to take and go
If not sure check app or ask the train staff lor

When I was there is the era when iphone just out in market not long ago and anddid O cmi that era
And it’s I DIy first time to go with out any help I can getvpasssd it too Mum JuSr need t do homework and now Lor of Chinese’s speaking and English speaking staff So n need to worry plus now u can data roam and rent mifi easy so it’s a piece of cake now go to japan

Those getting off car is to tell you which cabin is the best cabin to get off from (Near stairs)

Some Japan trains got many cabins much longer than smrt, so if u choose wrong cabin might need to walk quite a bit to reach the stairs.

In Japan, there are some trains that will split at certain stations to go in other directions but then Monorail is not (Split trains is not so common)

You can ignore those positions to get off
