Hi Guys, lost touch with the hardware world for long time.
I am building a new PC, need comments with this build

CPU: I5 4570
MOBO: ASROCK B85M-PRO4
RAM: 8GB corsair vengeance
SSD: Crucial M500 250GB
HDD: 1TB WD blue
GFX: Zotac 760 Amp or Powercolor R9 280X turboduo
PSU: Seasonic M12ii 620W 80+
CASE: CORSAIR 350D or 450D

no need for monitor keyboard and mouse

Have: Swan m10 speakers and Dell U2311H

need advise on GFX and casing.

abit stuck with the gfx selection.

BTW anyone got any reviews on 350d and 450d on noise and heat

Get the 280x then

Both case are good, 450d is better dust prove and slightly bigger can house atx motherboard

As for noise dun expect it to be silent since its more on air flow and cooling

If u need a silent case can consider fractal design r4

any reason not the zotac? the price difference is about 60 to 70 bucks

280x perform very close to a gtx770

You could get away with a r9 270 on high detail settings at your monitor's 1080p resolution for BF 4 I reckon. The r9 280x would probably net you max detail for BF4 with a some overclock. Looking for avg 60 fps.

Switch over to crysis or metro, and you'll probably have to step up the gpu requirements to a r9 290 if you want to hit max details, or potentially go with a CF r9 270. The latter option would probably cost more overall after factoring in z87 mobo price.

Personally I'll take the 350D. It's smaller, cheaper, and the front panel looks nicer then the 450D. You are limited to matx, but if you don't sli/cf that is perfectly fine, and the matx mobo's are also slightly cheaper. If case performance and noise is that much of a concern, may I suggest you take a look at the Silverstone TJ08-e.

But recently we see alot of blackout issues on 270? Is it a specific model issue or brand issue?
