Quick question about ops manning

Does the ops manning period ends after activation? Like you can go overseas? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Nope it doesnt end even after you are activated once. You are still liable for call ups during your mob manning period. This is in case of any real ops during your mob manning

even though being called up twice is almost unheard of, you are still on standby, and can still be activated.

if nothing urgent, dont plan vacation or go JB lah.

i advise anyone thinking about it, to not test the system

once you stamp your passport at changi, system will flag up you are going overseas while on standby.

Actually top commanders like S1 & CO in your unit and higher HQ will know how many activation during ops manning period cause they needs to arrange with Mindef for notification by open or silent mode.

So it will be good to check with them for advise cause by default, you should standby for ops manning period.

activation is higher level than CO.

CO, S1,or anyone whom networks better tend to have better info, thats all.
