Quick question regarding AC adapters

I plan to buy a WD my book from Amazon however it comes with the USA type AC adapter. If I buy a compatible AC adapter from eBay will it work?

Yes, it will work as long as voltage is the same. For current rating, it must be at least the same or higher. If lower, you risk killing the adapter.

It seems to be 100 - 240V, so u could just get a universal plug adapter and plug in the original AC adapter. No need buy another AC adapter.

Ya just get a plug, since the adapter is universal voltage.

So the one from Amazon is 110-240? I'm afraid I buy already not compatible in Singapore lol.
