Hello all

I was wondering if you guys can advise on what mobo will be compatible with the setup i've got

Intel i5-2500 3.3 ghz LGA1155
2x kingston 4gb ram (DDR3 PC1333)
Western Digital 1TB sata HDD
Andyson F600m Power Supply
Sapphire HD 5850 1GB PCI-E

My com was a DIY from about 2 years back, and I think my MOBO is spoilt. So I'm going down to SLS tmr to get it diagnosed, and get it replaced (assuming its confirmed that the MOBO is damaged). So I would like to know what would be a compatible mobo that I can use as a replacement.

Budget: Around $150max hopefully. Can adjust upwards slightly if $150 is unrealistic

Thanks everyone

Pretty much any 1155 compatible motherboard will do considering that you have a pretty basic setup here.

You need to get mobo that is 1155, supports dual channel ram and you're good to go.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Can I get your advice on which kind to get, and the rough price range?

Sorry to have to trouble you further as I'm looking at TradePac's price list but I do not know which MOBO is 1155 compatible.

You can just take a look around mynextcom website under:
Motherboard -> Intel -> 1155

Any mobo under there will be LGA1155 compatible.

It can be as cheap as $64.

ASRock H71M-DGS (B3) - $64

If you need HDMI port get MSI

MSI B75MA - E33 ~ $98

Buy from tradepac ask for discount :)
