Anything on softening of hardened hearts? Thanks
Softening of your own heart or to the person you are praying for ?
if for your own heart maybe I would choose this passage for you

1 Thessalonians 5:16~18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus

This passage is short, but it presents us with a major challenge
Rejoice always. Do you rejoice always? I don’t. I am definitely working on it, though. “Rejoice continually, and you will overcome every situation.” I know it isn’t easy to do; in fact, it’s far from easy. But rejoicing in the midst of difficulty releases God’s power and enables us to overcome

This leads us to the second part of the passage, which tells us to give thanks in everything. This means that we thank God not only before we have a steak dinner but in all situations. We must believe that when we’re walking through a difficult season, God is working something in us that can be obtained only by clinging to Him in the darkness. We must trust that even though the circumstance feels unpleasant, God is doing something good in us through it. When we know that, we can give Him thanks even in hard times

If you’re in a difficult season, just stop for a second and say, “Father God, thank You for this season because I believe You’re doing something in me that I could not receive if things were easy.” The Bible says God causes all things—not just the good and pleasant experiences, but all things—to work together for good to those that love Him and are called according to His purpose to conform us to the image of Christ (Rom. 8:28–29).

God wants us to have enough faith in Him to thank Him always, regardless of what we’re going through in life. Why? Because we believe He’s good and He’s doing something good for us. As we do this, beloved, we’re going to go from depth to depth and from strength to strength. And when we get strong, we’ll be happy

For if it is for the person you are praying for, read the Parable of the sower
there is nothing you can do except keep praying for it is the Holy Spirit who will do the Work

Parable of the Sower and the Four Soils:
Matthew 13:3-8, 18-23; Mark 4:3-8, 14-20; Luke 8:5-8, 11-15
The parable of the sower and the four soils is a story told by Jesus to illustrate how people react to the word of God.

Seed on the Path
The seed sown on the path, and eaten by birds, represents anyone who hears the word of God and does not understand it. Therefore, what they have heard is snatched away from their heart by the devil.

This situation is a classic example of "to those who have, more will be given; and from those who do not have, even what they seem to have will be taken away." (Luke 8:18) Those who have understanding will understand more and more. However, those who do not understand, even what understanding they seem to have will be taken away.

Jesus begins Luke 8:18 by saying, "Then pay attention to how you listen," which means anyone can understand as long as they listen carefully.

Seed on Rocky Ground
The seed that falls on the rocky ground represents someone who hears the word of God and immediately receives it with joy. However, they have no root or foundation, so they do not last very long. Jesus says, "when trouble or persecution arises on account of the word, that person immediately falls away." (Matt. 13:21)

Seed Choked by Thorns

The seed that falls on the ground with thorns is representing someone who hears God’s word, but all the concerns of the world (such as the enticement of having lots of money) ends up choking the word.
The word of God is not able to yield any fruit in that person’s life.

Seed on Good Soil

The seed that falls on good soil represents "the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields." (Matt. 13:23) This situation is the perfect example of someone who "to those who have, more will be given." (Luke 8:18)

Thankfully, because God has given us freewill, we are able to choose which kind of soil we are. If we do not understand something, we can pursue understanding until we do. We can research, ask questions, and learn.

Why a Dog and Goat

During the satanic fertility festival of Lupercalia, now Valentine’s Day, two types of animals were sacrificed namely a GOAT and a DOG.
Both of these animals represent people rejected by God in the New Testament.
A dog is a spirit of immorality and that is why an immoral person would often be referred to as being “a dog.”
Then a goat represents stubbornness and rebellion and is the opposite of sheep.
So the combination of these two spirits is a spirit of unbridled or uncontrollable sexual immorality and that is exactly what we see on Valentine’s Day.
You do not want to mess with such spirits, opening up doors to them in your life and marriage.
You do not want to pay homage to ancient demon “gods” that still demand worship.
REVELATION 22:15,”But outside are DOGS and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
MATTHEW 25:32-33,”All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the GOATS.And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.”

Yesterday I was at a place that is close to a funeral parlor and I heard some women singing celebratory songs.
Then I saw a group of women wearing catholic uniforms along with some men.
They were in an open van and one of the men was holding up a medium sized cross.
They carried some drums in the vehicle and started drumming them while continuing to sing.
This is the way Catholics in my county love to sing, they always love their drums.
The vehicle was stationary and most of the women were standing and dancing while singing.
I realized they were headed for the burial of their church member and the drums and cross were to be used during the procession at the cemetery.
They were singing a song in our local language saying, ”s/he is gone today,s/he is gone,” and even though I couldn’t clearly hear the other words in the song,I could tell from their celebratory dance that they meant that the person who was dead has gone to be with God(heaven).
When I looked at their singing and dancing, then saw the casket in which the dead person was to be buried,it struck me just how so unprofitable dead religion is to our souls!
I started to think of how none of what was being done now had any effect on the actual destination of the person.
It didn’t matter that they were in church uniform,or that the person could be buried wearing church uniform,or if they put a Bible in the casket, or that they carried a cross,or that they sang songs of victory!
None of this mattered.Only the dead person’s real relationship with Christ mattered.
For a moment I put myself in the place of this dead person and I was terribly afraid.
I was overwhelmed with the terror of having died without knowing the truth that leads to salvation.
Still in the darkness of catholic idolatry without any knowledge of how to really come to Christ for salvation.
And to know that any chance of salvation was forever lost filled me with overwhelming fear for the person.
I thought of how extremely important it is to evangelize and preach salvation to people while they still have the chance, while the door is still open.
Because if people die in darkness or if we die in darkness no religious acts can save us.
We have to come to Jesus while we are still alive and to love others by preaching truth that leads to salvation.
This post is not an attack on you if you are catholic but it speaks of the importance of salvation.
When we encountered God and got baptized in the Holy Spirit,my younger brother was at a catholic high school and Jesus instructed that my parents had to remove him from that school because they were compelled to commit idolatry.
They all had to attend catholic mass and bow to statues and say “Hail Mary” prayers.
Jesus said my brother had to repent of idolatry and if he continued in catholic idolatry he would perish and even though my parents had paid the full amount for his school term and the school term had not yet even commenced, they had to remove him from there even without being refunded.
They had to pay for him at another school and it was a huge sacrifice on their part all for the salvation of his soul.
When the Lord Jesus told me to warn people about hell,He told me,”If you really love someone, you would rather warn them about hell and give them a chance to repent even though it may hurt them.”
Again the Lord told me,”Tell people to repent, whether they get angry, tell them,”repent,” shout it out louder “repent for the Kingdom of God is now!”
God really wants for every person to have an opportunity to know the truth and repent and be saved.
The Lord often instructed me and my family to pray for mercy and salvation for the world for hours on end and even the whole night sometimes!
He takes it so seriously,it is really on His heart to save!
Sometimes we would get so tired but the Lord would encourage us to continue to pray and He said,”pray for mercy for the world.Pray for salvation, that people will come to repentance and be saved.Pray for people you know by name that they may come to repentance.Don’t just mention them but really pray for them that they may repent.Even people you just see on TV pray for them, pray for mercy.”
It is really His heart’s desire to save and He does not wish that any person should perish, but He gives us free will to choose.
He says I have laid before you this day life and death.Choose life that you may live.(Deuteronomy 30:19)
Life is a serious journey,we have to make sure to secure our souls while we have the chance, and to care about the souls of others.

My beloved friends, I come to you today with a warning from the Word of God. The world may entice us with its pleasures and promises, but we must be careful not to fall into its trap. For it is a path that leads to destruction and eternal separation from God. The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:7-8, "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." This passage is a warning that we cannot deceive God or ourselves. Whatever we sow, we will reap. If we sow to please our flesh, we will reap destruction. But if we sow to please the Spirit, we will reap eternal life. We must be careful not to sow to please our flesh, which is temporary and fleeting. Instead, we must sow to please the Spirit, which is eternal and lasting. In Romans 8:6, the Bible says, "The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace." This passage reminds us that we must not let our flesh govern our minds, but instead, let the Spirit guide us to life and peace. In Proverbs 14:12, it says, "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death." This passage warns us that there are paths that may seem right, but they ultimately lead to destruction. We must be careful to choose the right path, the one that leads to life, and that is through faith in Jesus Christ. So, my dear friends, I urge you to heed this warning. Do not be deceived by the world's pleasures and promises. Instead, sow to please the Spirit and choose the path that leads to eternal life. May we all fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, and may our lives be a testimony of His love and grace.

Be ready to be hated
Years ago a lady told me of how she’s been so convicted to surrender her entire life to Jesus but she said the only hindrance was that everyone at her work knew her as a fashion diva.
She told me she was willing to surrender cigarettes and alcohol to Jesus but that changing her wardrobe to modest clothes would make it too obvious and that she was ashamed.
She told me that she was doomed to hell because she believed she can only truly follow Jesus if she can lock herself away from people forever because then she could truly follow Jesus without anyone noticing.
She said she wanted to fully surrender to Jesus but what made it very difficult are people’s expectations.
She felt pressured to fulfill people’s expectations and didn’t want endure their reaction when she disappointed their expectations.
But to follow Jesus we must be ready to face contempt and hatred for His name’s sake.
1 Peter 4:4,”They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you.”
If the world crucified our Lord and King how much more shall it hate and show contempt to those of His household?
The people of the world will always be loved and be at home in this world because it is their home.
But If you decide to truly follow and obey Jesus, expect hatred and persecution because His Kingdom is not of this world.
This is why it is so hard to follow Jesus because the world still hates Him and if you become like Him it will hate you too.
Many people are failing to obey Jesus because they fear the hatred and animosity of the world towards godliness.
This is the reason why majority of Christianity has backslidden and sin has been normalized in the church to become more like the world in order to avoid the hatred and persecution that Jesus said would come to His disciples and to instead win love from the world.
God’s children have been called out of the world and no longer fit into the world because they live contrary to what the world expects.
If we strive to fit into the world we will lose our SALTINESS and can no longer fit into God’s Kingdom but will belong to this world.
But the people of the world are loved by it because it is their Kingdom.
The world sees no reason to persecute them because they live by it’s standards and approve of its evil deeds.
But just as God’s children can no longer fit into the world and are rejected by the world as strangers, those of the world will not be able to fit into God’s Kingdom and will be rejected as strangers.
We have to overcome the world’s hatred and choose pleasing Jesus as more important than meeting the world’s expectations just as many children of God who lived before us have done.(Hebrews 11)
We have to endure the world’s hatred and overcome just as our Lord and Savior Jesus overcame the world.
Hebrews 11:35-40,”Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.
Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.
They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.
And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise,
God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.”
Matthew 5:10,”Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
John 15:18-19
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
Matthew 5:13,”You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”
John 18:36,”Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

“Pray for me,I am stuck in sin.”
Just in 2023 about 61 million people died and on average,166,859 people die daily.
With so many people dying it’s really sad that most of Christianity has adopted a new gospel that pampers sin.
Way too many people tell me these words,”pray for me so that I may stop fornication, pray for me that I may stop pornography etc.”
But we do not find this in the Bible.
When people were convicted of their sins in the Bible, and their hearts were pricked by God’s word, they DELIBERATELY TURNED from their sin.
They did not continue and just ask the Apostles or other servants of God to just pray for them while they continue their sin so that God may forcefully just make them stop.
Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery,GO AND SIN NO MORE.
He didn’t say,”go and I will pray for you to stop sinning.”
Stopping the sin is a command from God.
Christianity has been so diluted that people have been taught to pamper their sin and expect that one day God will just forcefully remove them from it.
That is not the gospel of Jesus Christ and we do not find this in the gospel.
Yes other Christians May pray for someone caught in the web of sin that God may have mercy on them and touch their heart.
But the Bible doesn’t teach that after someone hears the word of God for repentance they should ask for prayer and continue sinning.
The next step after hearing God’s word is repentance.
God’s word only comes to do two things;to cause repentance or to be a witness of condemnation for those who refuse to turn to God.
God gives us free will and never forces us.
He cannot forcefully take us from our sin.
We must make a decision on our own to leave our sin.
That is what it means to crucify the flesh,to take up your cross and follow Jesus.
It is a decision you personally make.
And when you make the decision and STOP your sin,now you stay close to Jesus in daily prayer and stop feeding your lusts so that you may have the strength to overcome.
Jesus never pampered sin telling sinners,”just continue and I will pray for you to stop your sin.”
He said ,”GO AND SIN NO MORE.”(John 8:11)
He said,”UNLESS YOU REPENT,YOU WILL PERISH.”(Luke 13:3-5)
He said,”CUT OFF THE HAND THAT SINS,PLUCK OUT THE EYE THAT SINS.”(Matthew 18:9)
Do whatever you have to do to escape hell because if you don’t,you are at risk of being thrown in the place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.(Matthew 13:42)
We take the step of repentance and pray for spiritual strength to keep standing.
We first pluck out the eye,cut off the sinful relationships, break that friendship that always leads to your sin, even breaking the phone you use to watch pornography!
God’s instruction is to FLEE sexual immorality,He doesn’t say ask for prayer,He says,”FLEE.”
And this applies to all other sins too!
You must FLEE sin,If you are serious about salvation immediately you realize your sin RUN from it,FLEE,get as far from it as you can because it will cost your soul.
1 Corinthians 6:18,”Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”
Do whatever you must do to escape hell!
It is that serious.
Then go in prayer and even do prayer and fasting if you must for that yoke of sin to be broken.
Because if you don’t,it will take you to hell and you will realize that there is no sin that is too difficult to leave.
Jesus knew this and was why He said,”CUT OFF THE HAND AND PLUCK OUT THE EYE.”
Take sin as seriously as this if you care about your soul.
Matthew 10:39 says,”He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
If you keep doing something you know is sinful just because you are enjoying it,you will lose your life in hell.
But if you stop that sin you enjoy and turn to Jesus instead, you will find eternal life.
You must crucify your flesh or you will end up in the eternal flames of hell where the worms do not die,the fire is never quenched and worms will become your bed and cover you.(Isaiah 14:11)
Because of how serious hell is,Jesus said it’s better to cut off your hand if it is what causes you to sin and live your life maimed but escape the punishment of hell.
This means the torments of hell are worse than the pain you will feel when you cut your own hand or pluck out your eye or the difficulty you will experience living with no hands or eyes.
The torments of hell are worse than the torments you will feel when you cut off that relationship of sexual immorality or when you break your phone or whatever you use for pornography and live your life without internet if that is the only way you can stop watching porn.
The torments of hell are worse than any pain you can feel when you stop smoking or drinking, they are worse than any withdrawal symptoms to any addictions.
Hell is that serious!
They are unimaginable torments.
The human soul is the most valuable thing above anything else.
That is why Jesus taught that it’s better to lose everything else but save your soul.
Mark 8:36,”For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”
Acts 2:37-38,”37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as the one who serves.

• During the last Passover Seder, the Apostles desired to know who was the greatest among them. They inquired of Yeshua who responded that greatness was in how they served. In the midst of the Passover, He reminded them about His coming to serve men. If God in the flesh can lower Himself to serve other men, who are we to seek greatness? Each day is worth starting if we ask ourselves the question, “How can I serve the master today?” Anything else shows that our focus is in the wrong place.
