You Don't See Him

When you read a biography, there's usually some description of the person. Even before photographs, there were drawings, paintings, records and descriptions. Julius Caesar was tall and thin. Alexander the Great was clean-shaven and so on. But in the Gospels, there's no description of what Messiah looked like, other than he had a beard. Messianic prophecy about Him in Isaiah 53 says, "He has no form that we should be attracted to Him." Paul says, "We do not know Messiah after the flesh." Because He's about truth and truth is not about appearance. So when you follow Him, you must live by faith and not by sight. We're to be people who don't live by what we see. God wants you to be less dependent on your physical senses and more in tuned with living by His Spirit. The things that we see are passing away. The things that we can't see are forever. So look away from what's seen and live more by His Spirit, by truth, the Word and by Him who is beyond description. He's the One who can only be seen with the eyes of faith

Today, look at every situation with eyes of faith instead of what you see in the natural. See everything through the love of God

The Lamp of the Soul I went to a store I thought was open, but it looked dark with a few dimly lit lights. I saw a man walking in the store and knocked on the door to ask why it was closed. He said, "It's not closed." I replied, "Then why are the lights off?" He said "Maybe it's because you have sunglasses on." Forgetting I had them on changed everything. It showed that life is not always what it seems, but how you see it. People can look at the same thing and see something bright or something dark; the situation as hopeful or hopeless; disappointment or divine appointment; a closed door or a challenge. We're all wearing glasses. Some people have lenses of gloom, being a victim, rejection or fear. Others have lenses of faith and no matter what, they can rejoice and be encouraged. Messiah said "If your eyes are good, your whole body will be filled with light." So stop calling things dark, when in God there's no darkness. He promises that all things work for your good. Take off your sunglasses and go in. The store is open. Rejoice, you're blessed. Is there something in your life that you have viewed through lenses of darkness? Replace them with the clear lenses of God's Word. See it in His light today Matt. 6:22

Trust in the Lord People say the Bible isn't scientific and only science is logical, rational and real. Let's look at the end point of man's understanding. Starting with the most basic question: Why does the universe exist? There are two options: 1. The universe always was and it has no cause. The problem with that is, if it always was and it has no cause, it can't have an effect. It's not logical, scientific or rational. 2. The universe does have a cause. If it does, the cause has to be something beyond itself, beyond the natural, meaning supernatural. That only leads to the Creator. If you believe in the big bang, then what caused the bang? Who set the fire? When you take all man's reasoning, logic, rationale and science to the end, it ends up leading to nothing or to God. So how can you trust your own understanding? It's okay, you don't have to. Just trust in the Lord with all your heart. Don't lean on your own understanding and God will direct your paths. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of this world. Romans 11:33 Don't try to reason with the world today. Trust in the truth of God's Word and rest in it

HUH? When I go to another country on a mission, I find I get into more trouble, when I try to speak the language that's not mine. I focus on learning one thing. How to say, "I don't know how to say anything in your language." Or as some say, "Sorry, I no-a speak-a your language." Somehow we think if we just add vowels to English they're going to understand. Our enemy the devil; HaSatan in Hebrew, is a speaker. He accuses, he engages. He engaged Adam and Eve and they got into trouble when they spoke with him. It's important - in dealing with the enemy; if he wants to engage you in dialogue of temptation, self-pity, pride, anger, with thoughts or words - that you don't deal with the enemy. When the enemy tries to engage you, disengage. Pay him no heed. Don't listen to him. Don't talk to him. Let it go right by you. Treat it like gibberish; as if you can't understand it and it has no place in your life. Just tell him, "Sorry, I no-a speak-a your language." And be done with it Ephesians 6:16 When the enemy tries to speak to you today, just ignore it. Instead, speak the language of God's blessings over everything.

Prophets of Lies In the ancient world, people would travel across lands, oceans and seas to get oracles from those who were supposed to speak for the gods. Even kings were awed by them, wanting counsel from the divine. Romans 3 says, "What advantage has the Jew? ... to them were committed the oracles of God." They were entrusted with the true oracles of God, the Word of God, the Bible. You too have been entrusted with the oracles of God if you have a Bible. The Word of God isn't just a book. It's supernatural, from heaven, and it's yours. People spend fortunes on psychics to get some supernatural counseling, getting nothing that's going to help their lives. But you have supernatural counsel for your life, direct from heaven. Counsel for everything in your life from the God of the universe, worth more than money can buy. What are you doing with it? Don't let it sit there unopened, wasting such a treasure. Open the Bible today and receive a word from the Living God. Don't lose the treasure entrusted to you. It's for real. You've got the oracles! Scripture: John 14:6 | Romans 3

The Korban Anee

We know that Messiah's family wasn't rich because when they offered the sacrifice for His birth, they offered the "korban anee," "the sacrifice of the poor," the little offering. Messiah praised the widow who gave generously out of her poverty. It was the "korban anee," the same offering linked to His birth. God doesn't look so much at the amount of your physical offering, but the offering of your heart. The widow was giving a great treasure because that mite represented her heart. A billionaire giving a million dollars isn't as great an offering as a poor person who gives a hundred dollars. The smaller amount is greater because it's more essential to them. God doesn't judge riches by how much you have, but how much you give. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have, you can still give a hundred percent, or your all. You're generous when you give out of your need. That's the "korban anee," so give generously from your heart, and God will bless you many times over. Whether you have much or little, God is still looking for the "korban anee."

Look for a way to give to the Lord today and give Him your Korban Anee

The Pantheism Of Rice Krispies

Pantheism is the belief that god is in everything; the trees, the clouds, the animals, the wind, everything. Truly God's Spirit is real today and still moves. But we need to be grounded in His Word. There are believers that get into looking for God's revelation in anything and everything; a license plate, a cloud formation, the letters of their alphabet soup or the snap crackle pop of their Rice Krispies. Don't get me wrong, God can speak through anything, even a sign on the wall. But be careful, because when you start seeing God's will and hearing God's voice in everything and anything, you run the risk of falling into pantheism. God primarily speaks through His eternal Word, the Bible. He'll use His Word to talk to you. God can and will speak to you in different ways. But first and foremost be grounded in the Word. And through that, you will know and hear the voice of God. Messiah said, "My sheep hear My voice." In other words, be led first and foremost by His direct leading from the Word, and not from a bowl of Rice Krispies.

That's the Spirit

You Can't Go Overboard Enough

Peter saw the Lord from the boat and went overboard, literally. He was perfectly in God's will, stepping out in faith with his eyes on the Lord. Often, when you're about to step out in faith for God, friends and family say, "you're going overboard." But are you? You can go overboard for what you think is God's will but it isn't, for a doctrinal bandwagon, an idea, a movement, or a cause; but you can never go overboard enough for God. Rather, it's when we put things or idols above God and our passion isn't on Him first that we're overboard. God by definition is the One you go all out for. People go crazy at rock concerts, jump up and down at sporting events, and the world thinks it's fine, but start going crazy for God and they think you're going overboard. Scripture says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength." In other words, go crazy for God. Step out of the boat and go all out. Because in God, the only way to go overboard, is to not go overboard enough.

1 Thess. 2:4
Step out in faith today, step out of your routine - into the new - and follow the Lord's leading. Go all out for Him.

The World's Most Famous Prostitute

Many think Mary Magdalene was a prostitute who came to the Lord. Pope Gregory the Great was the first to link her to the prostitute who wept at his feet. All we really know is that Mary Magdalene had demons and was delivered by Messiah. We don't know whether she was a prostitute or sexually immoral. But no one questions it. She's become the world's most famous prostitute. Imagine that you come to the Lord and for generations you're known as the world's most famous prostitute. It doesn't matter what people think of you. Most of the time they're wrong anyway. It only matters what Messiah thinks of you and that you're with Him now. Start rejoicing with what God thinks. Get away from caring about what people have in their minds. It doesn't matter. It means nothing. Get close to God like Mary Magdalene. It's all that's going to matter in the end; getting close to Him. Because when all is said and done, Messiah is enough.

Galatians 1:10

Don't be concerned today with what others think about you, but rejoice in His thoughts toward you.

Talking To God's Answering Machine

Have you ever talked to someone's answering machine and in the middle of your conversation with their machine, they suddenly pick up and say, "hello?" Sometimes leaving a message feels easier than actually engaging in a conversation because it doesn't require much of your heart. It's the same with God. Some people would rather talk to God's voicemail than to God. To a lot of people, prayer is kind of a routine, a ritual; you just say the words and it counts. What if you're leaving your prayer message and God actually interrupted and started speaking with you? Many believers would be shocked because it's easier to leave your message than actually engage with God. But God doesn't want you to leave messages in heaven; He wants you to have Him live. He wants you to be open to hear from Him at any moment, relate to Him, answer Him, and engage with Him. Stop leaving messages on His heavenly voicemail. Start relating to Him live. God is alive and He doesn't want to deal with recordings.

Jeremiah 33:3
Set aside time today not only to talk to God in prayer.... but to listen to Him

The Leper's Solitude

Leviticus 13 says, "The one with leprosy shall wear torn clothes, uncover his head, cover his upper lip, and cry unclean.... He's to dwell alone." The leper in the bible is a picture of how we are spiritually, dwelling in this world as spiritual lepers. That's how most of us start out in life, unclean, with guilt inside. When you're guilty, you're not clean; you dwell alone, out of fellowship with God. Maybe you're saved now, but you still feel like you're not worthy. We have this account of the leper who didn't let his condition stop him from coming to Messiah. He comes to Messiah and says, "You can make me clean if you're willing." Messiah says, "I am willing." Yeshua touches him and he's cleansed and is at the end of his aloneness. Whatever the thing is in your life- no matter how bad or shameful- bring it to Messiah. Let Him touch it - your guilt, your shame, your infirmity - and He will remove it and your conscience will be cleansed. You won't dwell alone anymore, but with Him as a beloved child of God.

1 John 1:9 | Leviticus 13
Bring your leprosy, your infirmity, your weakness, your shame, your wounds, your sin, and any unclean thing to Messiah today and let Him touch you and set you free.

The Miraculous Death Of Memory

In Exodus 12, there's a command to sacrifice a male lamb. In following the commandment, the Hebrews were spared during the final plague of Egypt. We know that the lamb is a symbol for Messiah, but it's more complex than the fact that He was male. When studying these scriptures in Hebrew, we see that the word for male is zachar, which can also mean remembrance. We often live based on our past; haunted by our experiences, past sins, habits, or failures. When the lamb is killed, the remembrance is wiped away. This is the sign of Messiah. He is the Passover, but He is also the zachar. When Messiah died on the cross, the zachar - all remembrance of our past, our sins, habits, and failures - died with Him. When you answer the call to follow Messiah, like the Hebrews in Egypt, you are spared from paying the price of your past and are given new life. The voice of God says to you, forget the former things, be free of the past and walk in the new, for the zachar has been sacrificed and the remembrance is dead.

Isaiah 43:18 | Exodus 12
Forget your former self and embrace your future and your destiny with Messiah today.

Friday Through Sunday's Eyes

Why is Good Friday called Good Friday? It's the day of Messiah's death. It is good because He was dying for our sins. But it didn't seem good at the time. It seemed to be a horrible Friday. The disciples were crushed, broken, confused, in mourning, vanquished and hopeless. Everything was finished. But then came Sunday. Good Friday is good in view of Sunday morning. And in this is a secret of living. Don't see things solely through today's eyes, but through the eyes of tomorrow. Because God promises that for those who love Him, He's going to work all things for good. It doesn't matter what you're going through now, Sunday morning is coming and it's going to turn around. Before you see it, thank God for the solution. Learn the secret of seeing things in your life now through the eyes of heaven, through the finished work, when all that's now- your good, your bad, your problems, your troubles- is going to be turned into perfect good. Thank God for your situation and it too will become a Good Friday. And it's a Good Friday through the eyes of Sunday morning.

Luke 24:6-7
Look at all things today through heavenly eyes to the resurrection. Through every trial hold onto Sunday morning.

John Chapter 10:22~30
22 At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem. It was winter, 23 and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the colonnade of Solomon. 24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me,[a] is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

THE AMALEK MYSTERY & THE IRANIAN WAR

Could there be an ancient mystery behind the war in Iran that began on the last day of February of this year? This is not to speak of strategy, risks, outcomes, etc. in the natural, but of something far beyond such things and behind it all.
When the Israelites came out of Egypt, they were attacked by Amalek or the Amalekites. With God's help, Israel prevailed. At the end of the war, it was written that the Lord will war against Amalek from generation to generation. Generations later, the Amalekites are again at war with Israel. King Saul was commanded by God to eliminate them. But, he decided instead, to spare their ruler, King Agag. Generations later a man rises to power in Persia, named Haman. The Bible identifies him as an Agagite, or a descendent of Agag. Haman will seek to destroy the Jewish people. And so, the war of Agag and Israel will go on as recorded in the Book of Esther. Haman's plans will be overturned, and the Jewish people will be saved. Thus, the holiday of Purim.
What does this have to do with the war in Iran of this year? The nation of Haman, Persia-today is called by a different name, Iran. As Purim speaks of a Persian leader with plans to bring about the destruction of the Israelites, so now again a Persian leader, the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, and his associate leaders planned the destruction of the Israelites and pursued nuclear weapons to do so.
But as with Haman, death would come to the Ayatollah. When did it happen? It all began on the weekend that ushered in the Festival of Purim! It was not only that, but the very day that the war began and the Supreme Leader was executed, was a special Sabbath. It was decreed in ages past, that on that day two special Scriptures were to be read. One of them is from Exodus, the account of the first war of Israel and Amalek, and where God promises He will war against Amalek in every generation. And the other was the command of God to execute the evil king of the Amalekites. Saul refused. But on February 28, 2026, the very day that the Scripture was recited around the world, it came to pass, and an evil king was executed.
The God of the Bible is alive and well, seated on the throne. He is the Almighty. And He will defend His people-and that means you! This month, live in the knowledge and confidence that the Almighty is for you and with you! And may God greatly bless you as you do!

Exodus 17:8-16
