Quotations for ECI Plans

I am new to this forum. Looking to get an ECI plan. Have been working for nearly a year now and am looking to increase my coverage, specifically for ECI.


Any kind agents can quote me for

1) Manulife LifeReady with ECI
- I am looking for the cheapest combination to cover for ECI up to 100k (with multiplier) till 70yrs old. Premium Term 15/20years

2) Term Plan with ECI (100k) that covers until 70yrs old

If you are looking for coverage, get a term. That is the best insurance you can have already because it is just pure protection, which is what insurance is meant for.

The minimum sum assured is irrelevant because if you just get the minimum amount, essentially, you may have basically not much protection coverage due to inflation years down the road.

So instead of what is the minimum sum assured for whole life, consider the following questions instead:

1) Are you investment-savvy? Or looking to learn about investment?
2) Why are you getting insurance in the first place? To protect yourself? To provide some financial help to family if something unfortunate happens?
