As you know the depth for the BTO cabinet space for networking stuff is very shallow, so no place for server rack. As I am planing to get 1-2 rack style networking equipment (new to this rack thing), I saw some “rack to tower kits” to hold it upright.
I currently have one Poe switch (rack?) and I am using some iPad plastic holder to hold it “sideways”, such that it is width at the bottom and length is vertical (from our pov), with the front side (all my 8 ports cables) facing the left and the back back (power port etc) facing the right.
It barely did the job and there is definitely no space if I were to add one more. Is there a proper rack for at least 2 units (unifi 8 port Poe switch and UDM pro/se) that would fit the default cabinet? And will there be heating problems with that kind of rack?
Hope to get some advice from the more experienced folks here.
