Already landed but not many dealers carry it. Bought my sapphire rx 590 for 429 with 3 free games promo at cybermind on 20 Nov 2018.
Cos I using freesync 2 monitor n Vega series not worth getting.

I agree with this with one caveat, Freesync monitor. If have Freesync monitor, then makes sense to go with AMD.

Dont bother. Get a cheaper rx580 8gb. Close to same performance

the 590 is the newest gpu from amd and is nicknamed the fat boy - it is a hot beast with high power consumption and performs like a 1060 6gb/1070 peak o well if u like it u will buy it - I liked it too! but I fallen to 2080 which is called a bad buy now on youtube by hardware unboxed

Not sure what on earth you liked about it when there's a much cheaper, much cooler RX580 that runs like a 1060 LOL. Cuz its 'new'?


Tbh idk what the hell AMD is thinking with their mainstream GPU lineup nowadays. The rx580 was solid. The 590 was a confused hot mess. EITHER give us a bloody card that performs like a 1070 or 1070ti or not at all. WThell is a card that performs in between a 1060 and 1070? I might as well get the same-priced 1070 no?

I like that it has ultra thick heat sink and yet it runs super hotly - haha I like your description of a card that performs between 1060 6gb and 1070, maybe I am guessing that is the maximum that amd is able to push on the revision of this old hardware architecture?

Whoa, from way back circa 2003 I think, back when I was playing games with my 9700 Pro, or 9800Pro, can't recall which I had at the time.
