Hi folks, I've been playing around with a caching software, and I thought it would be nice to share. For those with lotsa ram and running SSD, I think this is a pretty fun software to play with. Results, obscene performance boost on your storage. But to be honest, apart from the no lag at all launch of my applications, did not feel much difference in real life. Without further ado, I present to you what I have been playing around with these couple of weeks,
PrimoCache Overview
I hate running benchmark on my SSD cause it literally reduces the longevity of it. But this one, I just cannot stand not testing it. One run, that's all. LOL.
Never seen such a performance before on an SSD. This ram cache works wonders to be honest. And this is the only time I believe that anything above 8GB of ram really helps the system.
Long story short, give it a shot. It is free for now, though PLEASE NOTE, there is always a risk of data lost due to interruptions. So use it at your own risk too.
P.S. Just to add, I am running a Plextor M5Pro Xtreme 512GB.
