Ram Compatibility

I stupidly went to order a new set of ram for my laptop without realising that the ram is actually soldered on. However there is an open sodimm slot

Soldered ram: 4gb ddr4 2133
Additional ram: 8gn ddr 2400

Will there be any problems with mixing the two?? I really dun mind running in single channel as long as it works

Would only be able to run at the lower speed of the two
