Dear Sifus,

Recently I change my ram to (1 pairs 4GB+4GB exactly same slot in A2&B2) and found out that my motherboard cannot detect my ram in B2 slot.
However, cpu-z did show that my ram is 8GB but the task manager only showed one.
Anyone can advise this?
Thank you!

If it is still 4gb detected only and the other 4gb is under Hardware Reserved in Task Manager, try the RAM on a friend's pc. If no issue from his side, you might need to RMA you motherboard.

Either ram slot faulty or 1 of the ram faulty.

Inclined to think its the ram slot.

What operating system are you using, 32 bits or 64 bits. Also what kind of CPU board you are using. Some older board do not support anything above 4G.
