ram question

I wanna ask if it is possible to run two 2gb ram and 1 4gb ram? One of my 4gb ram sent for RMA and no stock. My motherboard is MSI 870a-g54. Would recommend to run 4gb first or is it okay to just add the 2gb sticks. Thx vm
