RAM type and voltage does not match

Hi all, I am planning to do a RAM upgrade on my laptop (current 2x4gb) in which I intend to switch one of the 4gb to a 8gb stick.

While running CPU-Z, the results seemingly states the voltage is 1.35V while the type is DDR3. Baked on these 2 figures, I am confused if I should be buying DDR3 or DDR3L RAMs.. (see attached images)

I want given the impression that 1.35V belongs to DDR3L, however the type as stated is DDR3.

And so my questions are:
1. Which is the correct type I should use, DDR3 or DDR3L?
2. Can I mix these 2 types?
3. Does using different RAM brands will affects performance? Or should I stick to the same brand used in the 4gb?

1.35v is DDR3L. Windows always show RAM is DDR3 family.

Don't guess. Check your notebook documentation. The RAM type and specifications are usually provided for good laptop manufacturers.

Lenovo has the PSREF site to check for their laptops.

DDR3 1.35v is DDR3L, you can Google the model number for exact specs.
