Hi guys, I've been facing issues with my new rig after I overclocked. Here are the settings:
Ryzen 5 1600 overclocked to 3.7Ghz (planning to lower to 3.6)
Voltage set at 1.2V, Vcore at +0.6V (I used CPUID to monitor and min was 1.18 while max was 1.219)
Temp range from 40(idle) to 78(render + Vid streaming + cad) and shot up to 84 when i left it overnight for prime95 (Singapore climate, no aircon) and I'm running on stock cooler btw. I set the fan to go for 100% after it exceeds 60.
2x 8GB KLEVV Cras II ram which I set to run at 2666Mhz.
It survived the overnight prime95 test without crashing, I did realbench (5 loops), cinebench (5 consecutive times) and IBL test on very high(15 rounds) as well and it survived all. It did show blackscreen for the firestrike test though after running the test for abit.
Works fine for normal usage or even when I render but problem came when I'm multitasking (Video stream+cad+render), it would suddenly freeze up randomly lasting on average about 10-30 secs? Anyone knows how I can fix it? I'm planning to use 3.6Ghz as my permanent oc. Anyone with any suggestions to optimize the performance and prevent these random freezes?
