Casio never crossed my mind as a choice at all until I chanced upon the promotion at Courts last weekend. Did some research online immediately and decided to buy it.
What do you think of the image quality? I used auto most time and have yet to explore more of the features.

the image quality looks okay, but did you try to examine under 100% cropping to see if the details are well-resolved and sharpness is still maintain at the edges

meaning inspect a section or all of the picture at 100%(no resize/rescale). IMO, it's not important so long as you think your photo is OK. all these pixel peeping is sometimes very depressing, especially for point and shoot camera users. When you pixel peep, all the flaws are shown and magnified so greatly until you may forget the real purpose of taking a photo. My 2c.
