guys, need a little help here. have seen people post details of their pictures, like camera used, aperture, shutter speed. is there a software that allows me to know the properties of the photo? say i see a nice night shot on some website and it would be nice to know the camera settings to take that photo. TIA :o

the simple way is to download the photo and look at its properties.

some photo-sharing websites resize the photo into another jpeg file, thus removing the details therein completely.

The simple windows photo viewer in vista has the properties function to assist in your needs as a simple solution, else you might try your best friend GOGGLE ;)

I use EXIF Viewer plug-in for firefox and read the camera settings just with the right click on the photo within the browser.
Hope it is useful..

FYI - Some photo sites stripped off the exif info thus unable to read them too..
